Yoga 101:
A Gentle 4-Week Introduction to Yoga

A soft place to begin (or begin again).

Our Yoga 101 course is a gentle, supportive introduction to yoga — designed for complete beginners, those returning after a break, or anyone wanting to revisit the foundations of movement, breath, and presence.

Over 4 weeks, we’ll guide you through a slow, rolling-format journey in a small group setting (max 10 students), so you can build confidence, ask questions, and explore yoga in a space that feels safe and welcoming.

What to expect...

  • 4 x weekly classes (Wed, 6.30pm–7.45pm)​

  • Bring-a-Friend Free (Week 1 only)​​

  • Small group size for plenty of support and space​​

  • A bonus “Next Steps Pack” (1 free class + 10% off first class pack or membership)

What we will cover each week...

Each week in Yoga 101 focuses on a key foundational element of yoga — helping you build your understanding step by step.

Each session builds on the last — but if you miss one, you can attend it during the next round.

Week 1:
Ground & Breathe

Begin with breathwork, gentle seated postures, and the foundations of alignment. This session invites you to ground, soften, and arrive fully in your body.

Week 2:
Flow & Move

Explore simple sun salutations and mindful movement to connect breath with flow. Build familiarity with key transitions and start to move with ease.

Week 3:
Strength & Stability

Strengthen gently through standing shapes, balance work, and core awareness. This class builds stability and confidence in both body and mind.

Week 4:
Restore & Reflect

Wind down with nourishing restorative shapes, breath-led stillness, and deep rest. Reflect on your journey and reconnect with a calm, centred self.

Rolling Format – What If I Miss a Week?

The Yoga 101 course runs in a rolling 4-week format, meaning each week covers a key foundational focus. If you miss a week, you can join that session in the next cycle — no pressure, no need to start over.
