Soul Sanctuary

You spend so much time holding everything else.
There is always something that needs your attention.
Someone who needs you.
Somewhere you need to be.
Another thing to remember, organise, answer, fix or get done.
And somewhere amongst all of that, it can become surprisingly easy to lose touch with yourself.
Grounded is an invitation to put it all down for a few days.
To step away from the noise and the roles you carry. To move slowly. Eat beautifully. Make something with your hands. Have conversations that don't need to be rushed. Spend time alone when you want it and surrounded by good people when you don't.
Not to become a better version of yourself.
Simply to have enough space to hear yourself again.
To come home feeling a little more like you.

Less doing,
more being.
What You’ll Receive
Grounded isn't about becoming a “better version” of yourself. It's about creating enough space to reconnect with the person who's been there all along.
Across three spacious nights in the Adelaide Hills, you'll be thoughtfully taken care of while the pace slows and the noise quietens.
You'll have space to:
-
Wake slowly and move gently
-
Eat beautiful food around a shared table
-
Create something with your hands
-
Experience a little of the Adelaide Hills
-
Rest without needing to earn it
-
Connect with others — and with yourself
-
Do absolutely nothing when that's what you need
You'll return home rested, nourished, connected — and perhaps a little more like yourself.
In their words

“There was always something new to discover, yet never a sense of rushing. It felt like every experience had been chosen with purpose and heart.”

“I returned home feeling refreshed, grounded, and inspired.”

“The yoga practices, beautiful surroundings, and sense of community created the perfect space to slow down, reconnect, and recharge.”

I'll be there too
Hi, I'm Em
I'm a yoga teacher, retreat host and the person behind Soul Sanctuary.
I create retreats because I know how easy it is to spend so much time doing, caring, organising and holding everything together that you can begin to lose sight of yourself somewhere amongst it all.
And I don't believe coming back to yourself requires becoming someone new.
Sometimes it simply takes space.
A few slower mornings.
Moving your body because it feels good rather than because you should.
Eating beautiful food.
Making something with your hands.
Laughing around a table.
Being quiet when you want to be.
And having someone else take care of what's happening next.
That's what I'll be doing throughout Grounded.
I'll guide our yoga and meditation practices, share our meals and experiences with you, and quietly take care of the details so you don't have to.
You won't find pressure or performance here. You don't need to be good at yoga, arrive with a grand intention or become best friends with everyone by the end of the weekend.
You can simply arrive exactly as you are.
And for a few days, let yourself be taken care of too.

A glimpse of Grounded
Enough to look forward to. Enough space to let the weekend unfold.
Your room. Your retreat.
Because having space to yourself matters too.
A private room of your own.
Every Grounded guest will have her own private bedroom for the three-night retreat — somewhere to unpack, close the door and completely switch off when you want to.
Your room is part of the retreat, not simply somewhere to sleep.
Come back for an afternoon nap.
Get ready slowly for dinner.
Read in bed.
Skip something and stay there for a while.
It's yours for the weekend.
Full retreat details & pricing coming soon.
Priority List guests will be the first to receive dates, pricing
and access to bookings.

Travel & FAQ Info
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Many women arrive at Soul Sanctuary retreats on their own. Small group sizes and shared experiences make it easy to settle in and connect naturally — without any expectation that you need to be social every minute of the weekend.
I've never done yoga before. Is that okay?
Completely. Grounded is designed for real bodies and busy minds. Our practices are gentle, accessible and entirely optional. You don't need to be flexible, experienced or even particularly convinced that you're a “yoga person”.
Do I have to participate in everything?
No.
Everything is an invitation.
You're welcome to join every experience, or decide that what you need in that moment is a nap, a walk or an hour alone in your room.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Most dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. We'll collect this information from you before the retreat and work closely with our food providers to ensure you're thoughtfully catered for.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, something you feel lovely in for our dinner out, walking shoes, layers for Adelaide Hills autumn weather and whatever helps you feel at home.
What happens after I book?
You'll receive confirmation immediately, followed by everything you need to prepare as Grounded approaches — travel information, what to bring, dietary and accessibility forms and all the practical details.
What is the payment/cancellation policy?
Retreat terms, cancellation policy and payment plan options available upon request.
